I was wondering, for your blog on this site, do you have it so only you can add posts to that category? When I click on New Topic when in the Blog category it looked like I could add a one. I didn’t finish it and actually post a topic, but it made me curious.
I like the layout with the three cards at the top. I am thinking that is the cards plugin that you use that allows you to do that?

@phenomlab I like that philosophy. Everyone’s voice is allowed to be heard. Very nice!
The purpose of the blog category is for members to write in their own style and be given the freedom to express themselves - as long as it relates to technology. So, for example, it could be a story of sorts about your experiences etc, and the idea is that others read it and add their comments.
I’ve written a fair number of posts myself, and sometimes, they seem to fall into complete silence, and other times, become quite the discussion topic. Blog posting is designed to be more than “coffee break” reading in the sense that this specific category is designed to invoke thought, and a longer than average response from the reader if they decide to partake.
It’s not for everyone, but something I wanted to include as an area where all members are free to post - subject to the usual rules of course, which can be found below
@Madchatthew As an example, this is one of the much longer blog posts from me - it mostly is all me with input from @crazycells (thanks) at various points along the journey. It’s a topic I’m passionate about, but I realise it’s not everyone’s core interest, so I mostly post there myself as a way of sharing my views.
