Phenomlab has undertaken extensive work to migrate my Flarum and Wordpress installs over to a new VPS Server from shared hosting, as well as helping me a long the way install and activate many different options and settings in Plesk and Ionos. The free service that has been provided has really opened my eyes to the fact that there is help out there which is usually at a premium, but the fact Phenomlab has offered this for free is a great testament to his knowledge and understanding that newbie Flarum users like myself may face.

Everything Phenomlab has done or suggested has been first class: the service, the talk about my hosting being slow on shared hosting and the possibility to move to a faster VPS option (something I've never pondered before) and although at times I've probably pestered him nothing has been seen to be too much trouble.

Given my lack of experience when it comes to managing forums, I wasn't able to figure out why I couldn't install certain extensions or why some of the functionality didn't work. I got in touch with Phenomlab through the forum and he quickly helped me fix the issues my installation had.

I have requested phenomlab's help via sudonix.org both with a flarum installation, and with a nodebb installation at a different domain that is currently live. He has been instrumental to both installations and upkeep of the forums, I couldn't have done what I have done without him, whether that's been fixing hosting issues, customising the styling, installing web sockets, plugins, designing logos - you name it he's done it!

His knowledge is absolutely second to none. Every question I've asked has always been answered and nothing is too much bother. As I've said above if it wasn't for Phenomlab, I wouldn't have had the opportunity to run a forum, and then have the courage to start a second one with a design to catch the eye that is set to flourish under his guidance.

If I had paid for all the assistance I've had and work undertaken then I'd imagine it would be in the hundreds, if not into the thousands. We know that launching a website is not always a simple thing, you have to set it up well and not everyone is always (alas) capable of doing it.

Everything becomes even more complicated if you have decided to use a VPS server, and not a managed hosting.

Phenomlab is a super cool guy, talented, available and very kind.

He helped me set up our server and helped me with multiple technical questions on nginx, nodebb, JS, CSS, html and other development. He also allowed me to improve my technique because we can always improve

He offers his services for free, but frankly, if you use his services (regularly or not by the way) I invite you to make him at least donations because all this is time and frankly, he deserves it.

Even if we don’t know each other IRL (In Real Life), beyond the technical consultant aspect and other, I can say that he has become a friend (I hope it’s both ways lol) and I I think we will see each other for a long time, I hope.

I came to Sudonix looking for some help with a routing issue that we'd started to experience ever since we upgraded our firewalls. I must admit, I did try Stack Overflow first, but because of their "god like" attitude, I quickly abandonded that (I honestly don't understand the rudeness and it's uncalled for, but that's another story) and searched elsewhere. I don't even remember the Google search I used, but I did find Phenomlab - who bizarrely seemed to understand exactly what the problem was and even gave the Cisco config to fix it! Not only did he thoroughly explain what needed to be done to fix the issue, but also took the time to explain in great detail the reason as to why it happened in the first place.

It's pretty rare that I'll say something like this, but I truly am in awe of Phenomlab and his capabilities. If you're looking for genuine and unconditional help, then this is the place for you. mathourthy
