Absolutely! it’s a shame the Amazon delivery service is so handy
.@JAC but even that seems to have taken a nosedive recently. Tou can’t get same day delivery anymore (aside from groceries) - even if you have a prime subscription.
At least, that’s been my experience of late.

@JAC Always has I think. Given the net worth of Jeff Bezos, you’d think he’d give away stuff like this for free.

@phenomlab Definitely, it’s beggars belief that you should have to pay twice to get some ad free.

@JAC the worst part is that when watching a film, you get no warning whatsoever that an ad is coming. It just cuts straight into what you are watching which gets to be infuriating after a while and completely ruins what might be a good film or program.

@phenomlab that’s very true, is Netflix similar now, have they started pushing adverts?

.@JAC not that I’ve seen, although to be honest, Netflix is very expensive for the service on offer. In fact, I rarely find anything of interest.

I’m exactly the same, there’s so much on there but I just scroll through and I don’t really find anything I want to watch.

@JAC Yes, exactly. That’s the point of monetisation, but it shouldn’t be at the expense of the viewer who may already be paying a premium fee to dodge stuff like that.
