Redirect Google registered domain

I’m looking to redirect my old domain that still has a few months left.

It’s a Google domain. Any help greatly appreciated.

@jac How do you want the redirect to work - when you enter this name, it forwards to the new one, or displays a message for say 30 seconds, then will auto forward ?

If you have content then it makes sense to

1. Set up the redirect
2. Validate that this works
3. Perform a move domain request in Google Search console

This enables you to keep the SEO trail intact.

@phenomlab Just had a look at all settings and advice given. I’m going to set up the redirect once I have the forum ready to accept members. I’d hate for anyone to be forwarded at this moment in time .
