This is interesting. Who knew that Deep Fake images also were the victim of poor Photoshop skills
On a serious note, these AI generated images can be hugely damaging. Just look at the amount of times these fake images have been shared across social media sites. They say a picture speaks a thousand words - yet in this case, none of those words would have any true bearing or be factual.
@phenomlab I guess there might be ways to solve this problem…
Most logical way is that people should stop using social media as news site… But we all know that this will never happen… So, easiest solution could be tagging each shared caps or photo on the picture (not in the instructions) as “real”, “art”, “satire”, “ai-made” etc…

so, they create “valuable work” but they can only earn money out of this by suing others… lol…

@crazycells interesting indeed! I do agree actually - it does say in the article that it was a programming error, and one machine out of three was left running when the other two were shut down.

@phenomlab this reminds me old times when Uber came out… and arrogant NYC cab drivers complaining about Uber, how it is very bad for them…

@phenomlab yes, I personally believe this version of the story… I am quite sure the accident is technical error… but you know how media is… they “love” spreading fear… so they intentionally spreading this news as “robot-uprising”… lol…

Evidently, the recipient of this new implant can control a mouse just by thinking. Whilst the potential for such technology is life altering for those who suffer with disabilities, it also raises the immediate concern about how this technology will be governed to prevent it from being used for nefarious purposes.

@phenomlab this is more serious than Taylor Swift, this can be used to destroy the life of normal people too… let’s see how long it will take for legislator do something about this…
I am feeling that they will not move their finger until some real lifes are lost due to these fake images…
