💥🔥 that’s not bad at all!
TopCashBack still doing 97% cashback on that too, win win!
I must admit it was a struggle as expected to get SurfShark to agree to cancel despite being in the 30 day guarantee cancellation bracket.
Would you mind elaborating on this bit? I have been busy w/other stuff today and not yet gotten a round to it.
Sure, basically they did everything to get me to stay despite me saying I’d like to cancel under the 30 day guarantee policy about 30 times .
Will be testing the streaming later
@jac Let us know how it goes !
I have requested refund via email to support. Ticket was autobot acknowledged, urged me to check out FAQ. Hours later still awaiting follow up. Just an fyi, fwiw, since I am the culprit to have pointed folks thusly…
I’m going to add this link, as it’s a great and concise resource for multiple products that have been reviewed. Well worth a read

The ranking results vary depending on which website you choose, I’ve read numerous bad reports about Private Internet Access (which I was looking into purchasing) and some that are good. It’s like all reviews, you want to see the good and the bad before purchasing but generally the top trusted ones of Nord, Express VPN and Surfshark are there to be broken, however like all things it’s a case of if one of the VPNs is constantly near the top it must have something about it that people like, or maybe they’ve been established longer.
It’ll be interesting to see how this pans out, I may just have a dabble at Internet Private Access and let you know how I go on .
@JAC We’d certainly be interested in the results.

Thanks mate. Not taken the plunge yet, there’s many reviews about it not being great for streaming.
@phenomlab said in Which product is the best for VPN?:
@JAC Yes, I seem to recall @gotwf mentioning the same thing about Surf Shark
Having read up on various reviews it seems CyberGhost isn’t the best choice generally for streaming purposes like Netflix, iPlayer etc.
The best 3 generally seem to be Nord Express VPN and Surfshark .
I did used to have Surfshark (honestly lasted about 3 days before I got rid 🤪)but seem to remember it not being great at the time, having said that maybe I’m a little more appreciative with what to expect etc now. Maybe last time I did things incorrectly as in select wrong location etc, because it seems to come out quite well in speed tests for the price and for the general overall package.
I think I’m going to give it a second shot, you can always get your money refunded anyway up to 30 days after purchase.
Here goes…
@JAC let us know how you get on. My subscription for Nord VPN expires in the coming months, so I’m very interested in what else is in the market.

The top three do appear to be Nord VPN (which I found to be touch and go with streaming), Express VPN which seems to be a little bit more stable for what I use it for and performs better, then generally there’s Surf Shark which I need to try again to properly see how they compare.
Surfshark the cheapest of the three, but you can get a good deal on all if you subscribe to long deals.
I’ll update this once I’ve purchased and tested Surfshark.
Wishing you all a happy day!

So far… It’s cut out a few times on the laptop, on the Nvidia Shield box it seems quite sturdy with some good security features, as for the android app it’s good but seems to still say connected for a while even if the internet is turned off.
Still testing and still very torn. The only thing is it’s a top 3 VPN so deserves to be tested further IMO.
@JAC Interesting results. I’m actually finding glitches with NordVPN in the sense that it loses connection, then triggers the kill switch (which isn’t even active)…

That’s very strange mate, theres an option with Surfshark for the kill switch, I’ve tried enabling and disabling the feature no issues at all. Possibly something you’d have to report to Nord, although are you looking to get away from them??
You are more than welcome to use my login mate to test no problem at all, the beauty is ‘unlimited devices’.
@JAC I think I’ll take a look at SurfShark myself. I don’t need streaming services - just overall internet security
