Ok… Testing now connected to Luxembourg via Nord.
IP address sent via PM.
Logged out and back in etc…I have just logged back out and in. Currently testing Express VPN again with Denmark connection.
There was an update to do that id missed. I wonder if that was it…
Posting this using Express VPN > Denmark.IP address sent via PM.
Interesting… .
Ok so more research shows that when connected to Express VPN and using this https://nordvpn.com/ip-lookup/ rightly or wrongly it shows up my REAL IP address.
When I connect to Nord however and refresh the page it comes up the IP address that I’ve connected to via Nord which is what it should do.
Im now testing whether this just because it’s a Express VPN IP entered into the Nord website and its a competitor so shows no protection.
Ok… So the split tunneling options were only on for certain apps. Can you now see if my next post shows a different IP?
Now using Express VPN, connected to USA. IP address in PM.

Yes, that’s correct as the IP address you have does not belong to NordVPN so they have no way of confirming.

Correct
- The post you created when connected to NordVPN shows the VPN address.
- The post you created when connected to ExpressVPN shows the real IP address.
Based on this, it’s clear that ExpressVPN is leaking your IP address. This is why I only ever trust Nord

I have changed some settings within Split Tunneling, I have now logged out and am connected to Sweden.
Can you confirm this is now working using Express VPN please?

I definitely think the two winners are Nord & Express VPN, although I await the outcome of whether Express VPN is actually working which is concerning, one being the cost and two being how long I’ve used it for now possibly without any protection!

Actually really concerned about that.
