@jac ok so I’ve got an image I’d like to share with you over on Discord.
I’ve clicked manage router and it’s now loaded this.
We got there in the end Mark .
Many thanks for all your help as always mate, it just shows how helpful this forum and your services are, you really do go above and beyond!

Will be testing this further later on, it seemed to work very well last night.

I need to replicate what you helped me achieve with the Power line adapters.
I’m looking to do the same for my grandad, will these do the job? - https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0746H97SX/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_i_MNKKPJ2XZ5ZZCVX8AWB5?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
Many thanks

Virgin media customer also.
I wonder if these would be better for me to switch to these also, or whether there wouldn’t be any difference?

Yep, they are fine.
Great!

Not really. Remember that your streaming device is only capable of 100Mbps, so it doesn’t matter if the adapters allow higher throughput, you’ll only get 100Mbps unless you upgrade the streaming device.
-
@jac Just ensure the network leads come with them - they usually do, but just double-check.

Thanks mate.
That’s the issue I guess, I’ve not really had a problem with it since, although maybe next time a firestick may be the better option.

Thank you Mark, I’ll check

Same speeds of 100mbps.

These would do it too wouldn’t they?
-
@JAC yes, they would. However, 10/100 is quite an old standard these days. In most cases, the minimum is 100mbps or better at 1000mbps.

Thanks mate. I’ll probably go for the other ones above that I posted a few days ago .

@JAC these will work if you’re looking to save money, but don’t expect fantastic network performance from them…

Absolutely not mate, no. These seem the better deal

Router: Virgin Hub (same as yours I think mate).
Powerline Adapter from hub to top room (as you know from chat above).
Virgin Signal not much use around the house, we did have Boosters but they weren’t much use in all honesty.
If I want to put a TV in another room or two what are the implications of doing this with a firestick or something connected to each?
Would that require a new hub? more power line adapters? or is it a case of the more power line adapters the slower it will be anyway?
