@phenomlab LOL yep that is right, because there was a huge stack of them, I remember and it seemed like it took forever to go through the whole stack. Then you had to install drivers for each device. Oh the good ole days haha

Hard to believe that weโ€™ll soon be leaving 2024 and starting 2025. Where does the time go? Frightening.

@phenomlab I am using bitwarden as well. I havenโ€™t purchased the upgrade, but am thinking about it. It doesnโ€™t bother me to have to open the bitwarden authentication app separately since i am used to doing that.

@marusaky Good post. The real issue with Flarum is that even the most minor of changes requires a extension, which is crazy. With NodeBB, you can make changes on the fly very easily, and without too much effort. There is an element of learning when it comes to making changes to any platform, but Javascript is not difficult at all once you get used to it, and thereโ€™s also extensive support for jQuery (and hundreds of code snippets on the internet you can easily adapt and tailor to your own needs) For years, phpBB used to reign supreme - now itโ€™s incredibly dated, and always did have the most confusing admin panel Iโ€™ve ever seen.

@Sala Yes, I personally use Edge. Hated Internet Exploder (misspell intentional) but seeing as Edge is Chromium and Webkit backed, it works for me.
