Netflix hints at password sharing crackdown

Just knowing that you can go to a website where you aren’t inundated with ads and get to what you want to get to immediately.
One of the statements I can also proudly make here is that you don’t even need a popup blocker to use Sudonix. We don’t enforce ads on anyone. I just wish all websites operated in the same way. I get the need to generate revenue, but there are other ways such as paid content etc. Any website that is full of ads these days will simply be skipped by me.

You always can’t forget the “Be kind and rewind” slogan on VHS rentals LOL. Otherwise it might cost you an extra 75 cents haha.
Yes, I remember that. Plus the “late processing fee” if you dropped it back to the shop later than when you were supposed to.

You can understand why a site like this could maybe push ads on people to try generate income for running costs but they just put people off nowadays, and realistically they aren’t needed with the amount of ad-blocker extensions or even ad-blockers that come integrated into VPN apps.
But fair play @phenomlab for not pushing ads on anyone, I know it’s against what you stand for

@JAC Yes, I really do not like ads in any form. I do understand the justification, but when those same ads detract from the user experience, you are on a steady decline in terms of loyal users. Members come for the content - not to be pounded with random ads.

Agreed Sir!

18.9m additional customers in the past 3 months, and Netflix are raising prices again. I wouldn’t mind if the service was worth it, but it really isn’t.

@phenomlab all they care about is money and I understand you have to make money, but come on, at this point you might as well just get cable tv from the local cable station.

@Madchatthew and even that is ever increasing in cost. Have you noticed that prices always seem to go up, yet never go down again afterwards?

@phenomlab yes I notice that all the time and it sucks and at the same time wages don’t go up in response. It is like they are doing it on purpose. Get people used to living differently with their means and then lets raise it up again and they will use any reason to do that regardless of if it has anything to do with their product.

@Madchatthew yes, exactly that. When you consider what you were paying during the “honeymoon period” in comparison to what you are now, it’s truly shocking.
Daylight robbery in fact.

@phenomlab so true and it sucks because then people have to decide if they are going to pay a bill to keep the heat on or buy food so they don’t starve. That is a little extreme, but in some cases it isn’t.

@Madchatthew well, that does in fact happen in some cases.
