Thanks for the info, updating my phone right now…

I usually ignore these updates until way later…

I read several days ago somewhere that with the ios16 and mac os Ventura, Apple is planning to separate “security updates” and “app updates” completely so, people can automatically and easily update their devices in a shorter time for security purposes…

@crazycells that makes sense. Microsoft tried something similar with Windows but called it “optional updates”
