.@JAC ALWAYS shop around. Bitdefender, despite being a great product, have a habit of charging more for a renewal than they do a new subscription!

@phenomlab yeah after reading that, i would lean more towards NordVPN. When I was looking at the family package for bit defender, the middle package showed that the vpn came with it, but I could have been reading it wrong as well. I wouldn’t put that past me haha

@Madchatthew Bitdefender vpn also doesn’t work on Linux, which is where NordVPN comes into it’s own.

@phenomlab aaahhhhh that makes perfect sense. Yeah then I would probably use NordVPN. I have used them before and they work great. I believe you can also set it up so you can put in the info for NordVPN in your router at home and have it protect everything on the home network. That is a nice feature, then you don’t have to necessarily have it installed on every device.

@Madchatthew Yes, you can. They even give you guides for that. Also, consider using Quad9 for DNS
The only drawback for Linux with NordVPN is that it’s all command line based, but there again, not really a challenge is it?
