Virgin Media have quoted me £145 (from the £85 we pay now) to renew my expiring package with them, I can pretty much match the package to sky for half the price but I’m unsure how their internet compares?
Does anyone have any experience good or bad with Sky?

@JAC I have solid experience with both as you know. My advice here would be to call Virgin and tell them you want to disconnect. When they ask why, tell them it’s too expensive. Keep pushing this mantra, and they will forward you onto the retention team who will do anything to keep your business.
This is how I literally 4 weeks ago went from M350 to 1Gbps and still saved £35 per month.

I’ve done this and left them to call me back. When speaking with them I was told we can no longer have the pods for free, they’d now be £8 a month extra because we don’t have an O2 SIM.
Either way the matter will get resolved one way or another and when it does I’ll be update this thread

.@JAC keen to hear the update but really surprised they are calling back. They usually keep you on the phone to ensure they keep you at all costs.
