@jac No, I do not. Although I kind of like the ideas behind it. Winning the ad/big data arms race is not going to happen even with use of VPN. All we can do is raise the bar.
The adnauseam approach may offer a bit of a warm fuzzy feeling in that “the victims” finally have some chance to play offense. I is a plugin so I suppose one could enable/disable as the mood strikes.
Just tossed that up here fwiw. Had my head into some other things as of late. Be interesting to see how much a drag on performance behind the scene advert clicks incur - both network and local resources side.

Watched the first few mins and then bizarrely had a chat request on Facebook (believe me I don’t use it, I probably go on it once a fortnight if that to see how the family are etc) anyway the person requesting a chat seemed to send me a link to a dodgy X rated website that I of course didn’t click, but funnily enough as I was watching that first little bit I did think to myself what on earth am I doing with a Facebook account
.@jac I got as far in as 7:16, where I just closed it. This is completely incomprehensible that this sort of content was even posted in the first place, let alone be left there for others to view. Truly shocking.

Lest “we the sheeple” are delusional enough to believe/hope all this “subcommittee hearing theater” will result in consequences with any real teeth:
Proof positive: Talk is cheap. Actions are loud. And speak volumes.
Not to single Amy out because I’ll be I can do same for pretty much every politard talking head on the subcommittee. I picked Amy because she was one making some of the more pointed comments and also a former presidential candidate.
Hmm… Walk of shame anyone? How many of your elected officials are voting with their feet? I’ll be not a single one.

However , you have to have pity on those who wouldn’t be able to post what they were having for lunch, or that pointless post around a venue they’ve checked into that nobody really cares about…
And then there’s the s**t posters…

@crazycells it’s the route of all things evil, well most anyway
.I won’t touch it nowadays and haven’t for a few years, the only one I look at now and again is X (Twitter) but I just feel social media is no longer for me, I’d happily get rid of them all 🤯.

I’ve done pretty much that already. Hardly use any of them these days. Never really was a social media fan anyway so don’t miss it at all.

Pretty much the same for me Mark, I don’t understand people’s pleasure in starting arguments or posting what they’ve just done five seconds ago, it’s all very tedious isn’t it.

@JAC yeah, I’ve never seen the appeal. I tried to get into LinkedIn a while back and then gave up because it’s just chock full of people who have far too much time on their hands telling anyone who will listen about how great they are and what they have achieved.
