Definitely! It’s good to sample different VPNs, of course some offer more than others but that’s a cracking deal nonetheless.

Well, I did finally install this application as my 3 year subscription for NordVPN runs out in September of this year, so I’m looking at potential replacements before I go ahead and renew.

My review of KeepSolid ? Absolute s**t. I’m sorry, but this product doesn’t work - fails to connect, then just hangs. Uninstalled.

No wonder they are offering lifetime deals for a product as poor quality as this.

Absolutely Mark, it’s not surprising at all.

I’ve tried the current main three: Surfshark, Nord & Express VPN and I have to say Express VPN definitely comes out on top! .

@JAC makes you seriously wonder if they really have any sales. This company is constantly offering discounts. Having reviewed the software myself, I’m not surprised frankly as it’s not great.

@phenomlab Absolutely, it seems a bizarre situation, the deals keep cropping up and as you say you’ve tested it and it’s not good. There’s probably a catch to it.

@JAC The catch is the poor quality of the software It’s easy to be reeled in by these cheap deals, but most of the time, they simply aren’t worth it.

I’ve got Express and Nord (which run out early next year) I’ve gone for Surfshark again.

So far so good, the speeds I get to the Nvidia Shield aren’t too far from Express VPN speeds.

Obviously sometimes the app doesn’t connect on start up although it’s set to auto connect, so that’s something I’ve complained about, but it looks like its been an issue for some time.

Express VPN takes some beating really, it just simply works!

Yes, the same for Nord VPN - except for a quite annoying bug in Android where the VPN suddenly stops sending traffic and you have to stop and restart it.

For whatever reason it keeps disconnecting so that’s me I’ve requested a refund, the product isn’t fit for purpose, their speeds we’re great but that defeats the object. It had disconnected without notice leaving my connection exposed!! - Nord does this sometimes too!

I may try out CyberGhost. I’ve looked into pretty much all of them now still a big fan of Express VPN but will always look for the next best thing and unfortunately aside from Nord that does appear to be Surfshark which is a big of a let down too if it won’t stay connected.

I tried CyberGhost. Their speeds were bad, and I could get better elsewhere.

The top 3 I’ve found are:

Express VPN, Nord VPN & Surfshark which is pretty much how they rank across most VPN reviews.

Managed to fix this issue, the kill switch feature wasn’t working properly so I’ve simply turned it off so when I reconnect the internet it connects again as it should.

Absolutely, I doubt I’ll need it really, it’s helpful but if it doesn’t work effectively it’s pointless.
