Hello, I am trying to configure Ghost and WordPress, but I’m stuck on the Nginx configuration and SSL setup. With the help of ChatGPT, I installed PHP 8.3 and WordPress, but when I access wp.domain.com, it still loads domain.com (Ghost). I think I may have made a mistake somewhere. Where should I check for the issue?

I have been testing a couple of themes and for sure i love the current one that is installed, its called iwata. The problem i am having is the theme has a space on the left side. It’s like a sort of menu that displays date’s e.t.c

This space has been bagging my head since there are some areas where the page do not have the details like for dates and so the page is still squeezed and the left side is empty.

This appears to only be happening when using the site on desktop. I appreciate a better a way if you can figure out the better way we can handle the post page, pages of all site, maybe a css? https://sopriza.com/

Sudonix, there is a problem with my website that I am unable to resolve. The widget in article posts is much smaller than the other widgets on Frontpage and Pages. This is evident when looking at the word count in the screenshot below.

It appears to us that the new theme installed does not define the height of YouTube videos, which appear a bit large on mobile devices. We are looking for a custom CSS to fix this problem.

Last year during Nov, we changed our site from flarum to WordPress and Sudonix was very helpful, it brought back our smile again!

Cutting the story short, there’s one critical change that needs to be fixed.

When you visit the Q&A topic for example: https://sopriza.com/question/france-national-retirement-push-62-64/ it looks okay on your eyes but the thing is search engines have been reporting there are 2 H1 tags that one needs to be removed. I suspect the second h1 tag comes from the breadcrumb, and sad thing i have no knowledge how to remove it 😭

Hello, i am moving out from flarum to WordPress. my friend is working on the gatsby + WordPress implementation part and i am supposed to migrate all flarum data into WordPress.

as i can see we can export MySQL data to excel and manually use any WordPress importer to import.

sir, do you suggest any other alternative? like json to WordPress auto import? i am asking this question because you have worked on some kind of json to flarum post creation since you have a good grip on this i thought of getting a suggestion from you.

During the time we were moving out from flarum, our team was frustrated, learning something new , WordPress was really new to us. But with the help of @phenomlab @Hari and @MadWay there convincing thoughts we finally managed to come make Sopriza Community live back again.

Phenomlab has been helpful with providing the essential security, hardly to believe WordPress is even better!

The look of ads on PC they appear correctly but not on mobile.

@phenomlab of course, as you know from previous discussions I do like the sound of a news / general site and then a forum on the side for people to discuss the post in etc, but of course it’s a lot of work. The one plus is obviously if the Nodebb plugin can allow users to login to both services using the same login then that would be advantageous.

i have recently signed up for Cloudflare APO for WordPress and i see a huge speed improvement.

due to cache woocommerce currency switching and flarum login is not functioning properly, i would like to add a page rule and whitelist both directories to avoid cache issues

i have entered URL as .domain.com/wooCommerce/ and .domain.com/flarum/ now should I set them to bypass or no query string? or ignore query string?

when i use bypass setting it takes lot of time to load, i want to utilize CF cache but at the same time i don’t want it to cache dynamic related files.

Realistically should an installation of wordpress be on a sub domain or can it be placed in a sub folder? So domain.com/hub
hub.domain.com.

I’m looking to create a news type fan site where I’m able to feed in news, YouTube etc via RSS plugin? 🤞🏻 and amongst a few articles from myself to have a directory of any County fans that offer a service / own a business etc that can be added and built up.

And I’m also hoping nodebb supports scope for something at the bottom of articles to say “why not discuss this more in our forum?” Something along these lines.

I’m hoping to build something like this up slowly.

I’ve been looking for quite some time now to create a football portal / directory with links to football websites with fed in news that’s maybe a snippet of the story and then redirect to read more etc.

So websites can fill out a form to have their website added / retracted and will be asked to display a badge in the widget area linking back to the site.

I’ve seen one with WordPress that does it well but hasn’t been updated.

Does NodeBB and wordpress allow for users to stay logged in on both sites? If you had a forum and a news site for example?
