@phenomlab Perfect!!! Many thanks.
migrating from cloudways to plesk
-
@Hari actually earlier error was DB password issue, i forgot to update the new DB password in a custom theme file.
and in plesk we should always use localhost:port number if we just use localhost sometimes it wont connect (i am assuming this)
-
@phenomlab is completely disabling ModSecurity a good idea?
and what happens if i allow MEME? i am getting below error
-
@Hari depends on the format of the config file, but in most cases, you only need
localhost:port
if you are using a custom port. -

No, I wouldn’t recommend it. A better solution would be to use a mod security template that is designed for WordPress rather than the generic one.
-
@phenomlab i am thinking to enable MEME what do you say? is it necessary? is it a CSS file library?
-
@Hari MEME ? Do you mean MIME ?
-
@phenomlab yes yes
-
@Hari you’ll also get that error if you are attempting to include a CSS file that is improperly formatted. What is it you’re trying to include ?
-
@Hari i just selected WordPress and moved to de activate zone… this is how we need to choose the WordPress template for ModSecurity?

since i am migrating from a different server IDK what the old code is … i see this MIME error in the console, i can ignore it too … as i am not sure what is it … i thought of asking you sir.
-
@Hari yes, but that’s deactivated.
-
@phenomlab got it, it should be in the activated box.
-
That is all, i have successfully migrated to Do-Plesk from cloudways.
should i enable MIME?
we can mark this discussion as solved, thanks again for all the patience and support.

@Hari raise a new topic for the MIME question…
Did this solution help you?
