@crazycells I did see something similar to that article, yes. I never fully understood why anyone would want to give unfettered and complete access to AI without first understanding exactly what it had control of, and what it intended to do with that access. This isn’t the first “horror story” and it won’t be the last.

@phenomlab well I hope that a better company steps up and puts in a higher bid. If I had the money I would buy TikTok. That platform is a money makers dream. So many people on it now er or was. I think MS will just mess it up like they do everything else. Hell, they can’t even get their own software to work correctly, how would they even keep that one up and running.

@JAC wow. Thanks for the great comments. They are truly appreciated. I tend to agree with the social media comments you’ve made. This is made all the more prominent in relation to recent events in Southport for example, and toxicity is a huge issue. Just look at some of the comments from trolls - they are truly disgusting, and the perpetrators seem to take great delight in the anonymity the Internet affords them. forums in general are much more subject focused, easier to moderate and users are less likely to be banned because they are there for a specific interest or reason, not to cause trouble. Agreed, although discussions can still get out of hand and quite often, these are left to run riot and quickly spiral out of control. A great example of that is here https://sudonix.org/topic/141/how-to-destroy-a-community-before-it-s-even-built there’s something much more calming about coming to a specific page at your fancy, posting and taking part in healthy debates over the real mishmash of social media. Yes, I personally prefer the atmosphere of a forum against the backdrop of unwanted noise via social media.

@phenomlab Sorry to delay in responding, yes as i mentioned above, i had to remove my redis from docker and reinstall a new image with this command docker run --name=redis -p 127.0.0.1:6379:6379 -d -t redis:alpine and now when i test my ip and port on https://www.yougetsignal.com/tools/open-ports/ the status of my redis port is closed. I think which to configure firewall in droplet digital ocean is a good idea too, and i will configure soon. Thanks for the help!

@phenomlab said in is my DMARC configured correctly?: you’ll get one from every domain that receives email from yours. Today I have received another mail from outlook DMARC, i was referring to your reply again and found it very helpful/informative. thanks again. I wish sudonix 100 more great years ahead!
