    I think it is because it’s set to not show the attachment to users that aren’t logged in but if anything it will put users off when the red error message shows.

    @jac This isn’t a bug, but a feature design of NodeBB. Agreed that it may put people off, so you’d need to adjust the uploads permissions accordingly.

    probably a case of disabling the feature.

    @jac

    but if anything it will put users off when the red error message shows.

    I suppose a counter argument here could well be that it’ll entice the user to sign up of they are serious about wanting to see the attachments. There are hundreds of forums that take this route out of the box.

    @Panda said in Spam spam spam: ok, yes Ive seen the queue, it shows IP, but doesnt have a field for comments from registrant. It’s not designed for that. It merely serves as a gateway between posts appearing on your form or not. @Panda said in Spam spam spam: It would be better if nodebb had this plugin included in ACP list, as not only then do you know its approved and should work, but many people cant or dont want to use CLI on the server That’s a question for the NodeBB devs but in all honesty you can’t not use the CLI when installing nodebb so to be this isn’t a big deal.

    @Panda if you used the Ubuntu PPA, I think this only goes as far as 6.x if I recall correctly.

    @Hari the real issue here is that I don’t think it can be used as a theme for WordPress because of the dependencies it clearly has, including its own Web server. My view here is that this is designed to be a complete development environment outside of the WordPress core.

    @phenomlab Ah, got it working! I reversed the CSS addition to put z index high, and then I could see another error box saying fork title must be at least 3 characters. So made the new fork title longer and button responded.

    @jac Not necessarily, no. The domain redirect is purely so that older links that point to the previous domain don’t just spit out a 404 error message when someone tries to access them. However, if the domain is seldom used, then why would you need the redirect in the first place (a point which you mentioned below). I’m still struggling to understand why you’d need two sites with the same information if the other domain is rarely used
