I haven’t purchased an apple product in some years now.

@phenomlab It really is. The alternative is to buy a logo pack but why pay more when you’ve already paid hundreds for the handset.

@JAC Reasonably priced also. Just checked Amazon and it’s a fraction of what you’d pay back on contract for what looks like superior hardware.

@JAC I was looking at their website for the nothing phone you posted here and this is something that I would actually be interested in getting. It would be a way to get away from the brand name phones with a more minimalistic OS and without all the tracking and info steeling that are common on the major brands. It appears to be a very good quality phone as well.
Have you had any kinds of issues with it?
What have you noticed that you don’t like about it?
Anything that it doesn’t have that you wish it did? -

@phenomlab nice review, thank you! In the comments it was mentioned that you have to be accepted to the developer program, although you don’t need to be a programmer. Due to that they had a very limited warranty on the phone. I spose you could get an insurance plan through Asurion or something, but don’t know if they would have to be partnered or not. I like the concept and idea of this phone.

@Madchatthew I too like the concept - and the price is very appealing. I know of one colleague who buys his own handset every couple of years upfront, and I think he’d like this being an Android fan.
Seems you can buy it easily in the UK. Not sure about insurance though, but shouldn’t the warranty be subject to the usual statutory period of 12 months from the manufacturer’s perspective?

@phenomlab I would think that would be the case in regards to the warranty. It also said on the site that it would get security updates for 4 years, so you would definitely get your money’s worth before having to buy a new one.
