@phenomlab I would think that would be the case in regards to the warranty. It also said on the site that it would get security updates for 4 years, so you would definitely get your money’s worth before having to buy a new one.
@Madchatthew Agreed. Will seriously consider this option at the next “upgrade” interval.

Have you had any kinds of issues with it?
What have you noticed that you don’t like about it?
Anything that it doesn’t have that you wish it did?
The 2a+ is out also but that’s probably an extra £50-80 extra.
I’ve had no issues at all with it, it’s a snappy phone, does everything I want and need although mainly the basis like calling, texting nothing over the top but it’s a very solid phone for the price.
It doesn’t have wireless charging, that’s something I’d like but not essential and doesn’t make me like the phone any less .
@JAC @Madchatthew i’m seriously considering taking this route on the next upgrade cycle. Trouble is, I do like a Samsung phone…
Looks like the Nothing 2a Plus has had some seriously rigourous testing. Now that’s some sort of phone if it can withstand those conditions
@JAC That is good to know. Wireless charging is nice. You can just set your phone on the wireless charger when you crawl into bed and it is good to go the next morning for the day. I do like to play some games on the phone, but from what I have seen on their website, I don’t think that it would be an issue by any means.

Ah yes, I also do really like the Samsung phone as well.
When I looked on Nothing’s site, I don’t remember the 2a Plus being on there. And the price is amazing. $399 for the phone. I will be seriously considering getting a Nothing phone when it is time for me to get a new phone.
@Madchatthew so the lack of wireless charging may be an issue possibly? Gaming wise that should be absolutely fine to handle.
I moved from Samsung (£350 phone, nothing fancy) to the Nothing 2a. If you’re running something you’ve paid £500+ for then you may notice the difference but for me it’s a solid choice.
@JAC @Madchatthew a good comparison here, which seems to indicate the Samsung S23 being superior

@phenomlab I wouldn’t be surprised to see a Samsung come out on top, however I still think for the price point the Nothing 2a is a really good phone.
@JAC So do I. There’s no arguing that. A decent quality phone for a reasonable price.
Nice review. I would like to see the new 2a plus compared to the s23 plus and s23 ultra.
The price on the nothing phone is so much better. You could get 2 nothing phones and almost 3 for the same price as a samsung phone. The performance on the 2a plus looks really promising if the graphs are true.
